About
Establishing The Thompson Group has allowed me to share my systems and skills with young like-minded Realtors to continue the quest to provide the highest level of service to all our clients. At The Thompson Group, we don’t just help people buy and sell houses, we build life-long relationships. I prefer to think of myself as Your Personal Real Estate Consultant for Life. When someone is in need of legal advice, they go to their Attorney.
When they want tax advice, they go to their Certified Public Accountant. If a buyer wants advice on real estate, they come to me. I don’t want to help people buy or sell real estate one time only. Instead I prefer to develop a life-long, trusting relationship with people who, like me, hold those relationships in the highest regard. My purpose is that you are so outrageously happy with the service I provide you that you will gladly introduce me to your friends, family members, and good neighbors, not by obligation to me, but because you truly believe they will benefit from my service. I have been in the real estate services business for many successful years and will be here for many more.
This longevity and confidence comes from my real estate services to a great many buyers and sellers, and their recommendations to others that result in repeat and referral business that keeps me productive and successful. As a full service real estate professional, I work with buyers, sellers, and investors in real estate transactions spanning all of the price ranges and property types. I look forward to working with you. E-mail me scott@estesparkhome.com or call/text me 970-590-9941 today to get started on your relestate venture.

About
Karen was transplanted to Fort Morgan, Colorado at the age of nine, coming with her family from the panhandle of Texas. Hereford, to be exact, where the cows have white faces. Being the third of four daughters, she was pretty much the middle child (and the favorite, she thinks). Karen and Scott were married in 1983, and daughter Kellie was born five years later. Daughter Shannon came along a short 22 months after Kellie.
After moving to Estes Park in 2008, Karen was employed by the Town of Estes Park in the Community Development Department. In 2017, she was hired by the Estes Valley Land Trust as their Office Manager, and thoroughly enjoyed working with the many volunteers at that organization. After a sudden turnover at Scott’s office, Karen and Scott decided that Karen should be the Administrative Assistant for Scott and the newly formed Thompson Group. Although she enjoys working with The Thompson Group, her real passion lies with volunteering and helping others. Karen has volunteered for the Estes Park Rotary Duck Race every year since 2010. Karen was appointed President of the Estes Park Rotary Club for 2023-2024. She also enjoys volunteering at Summit Church.
One of her favorite ways to help clients is by helping them get their homes ready to sell. This can involve packing, cleaning, sorting, selling, and donating items at the owner’s discretion and taking care of all of those details that can easily become overwhelming when people are moving. Karen is most proud of being married to Scott for over 40 years, her kids, and summitting Longs Peak when she was 51. She loves their grandson, Conrad, with all her heart, and is looking forward to being Mimi to grandson #2 in May, 2024.
About
Trenton grew up in a small town in Kansas, but always had a love for the mountains and Estes Park. He spent two summers in Estes Park working seasonally in 2019 and 2020. He and his wife, Hannah moved to Estes Park in August of 2022 and feel that Estes Park is now home. Trenton graduated from Kansas State University in May of 2021 with a degree in Marketing and started his own Marketing company in 2022: Elevation Peak Marketing. He loves being able to work in marketing everyday, getting to do what he is passionate about.
Outside of work, Trenton loves anything outdoors: hiking, camping, fly fishing and disc golf. Exploring Rocky Mountain National Park with his wife is among his favorite parts of life in Estes Park.
Trenton feels honored to be a part of The Thompson Group because it feels like a family, not just a real estate company.
